![]() ![]() ![]() InterfacesInterfaces are commonly required to get data into OncoEMR (Lab Data, scheduling information, Radiology Notes, etc.) and sometimes to get data out, typically to your billing system. There are two parts to every interface: the data producer and the data consumer. Altos can typically only be responsible for its side of the interface, but will help configure the interface as necessary to accommodate the other vendor. (Practices need be aware that some blood and chemistry machines are not capable of sending data out of the system, making interfacing impossible). We also work with popular data engines including Downing, Cloverleaf, Data Innovations and others. Altos generates and accepts data in industry standard HL7 format, the most widely used and accepted format for medical data interchange. To enable interfacing, Altos provides the ABL (Altos Bulk Loader) application. ABL is a web-based application used to transmit or receive data files using 128-bit secure (strong encryption) HTTPS channel. ABL can be used by your practice or partners that you select (transcriptionists, reference labs, etc.) to import one or more files from anywhere in the world. Note that ABL is required only when you want to enable quick, repetitive importing of multiple documents for multiple patients. Uploading a single document for a single patient has always been fully supported within OncoEMR. |
