The Company
|
Altos Solutions was formed from the team
that founded Vital Software, the first oncology-specific
EMR solution. Their products – OncoFlow, OncoStation
and OncoManager were introduced at the Scripps Cancer
Conference, La Jolla, CA in January 1994.
The goal of Altos Solutions is to deliver high quality,
always available, web-based EMR systems that are comprehensive, easy
to use and, most of all, inexpensive. Based on this objective and
relying on over 10 years of market experience, Altos Solutions created
OncoEMR. which accommodates the complexities of large
clinics while catering to the minimum requirements of a single physician
practice.

Management Team
John T. Willey, Founder, President and CEO
Altos Solutions
was founded in 2003 by John T. Willey II, a serial entrepreneur
and 23-year veteran of the software industry. Mr. Willey was
a founding executive at several extremely successful companies
(including three ‘C-Level’ positions) and has held
General Manager positions of public software companies.
[Email John]
In 1993 he founded Vital Software, Inc.,
the developer of Vital
Oncology, the first oncology-specific electronic medical record.
At Vital, Mr. Willey co-invented the first oncology treatment
plan generator, which is still in wide use today. Willey sold
Vital to Eclipsys Corp (NASDAQ: ECLP) in 1999 to move into the
enterprise business software market and became the number-3
executive at Talus Solutions which he successfully sold in 2001
for $384M.
Mr. Willey has raised venture capital money on multiple occasions
and has lead companies through five M&A events, each time
delivering at least 5X returns to his investors.
Mr. Willey is passionate about medical software and believes
there is an unmet need for an Oncology EMR that is priced affordably
for small practices. He founded Altos Solutions to address that
need.
